The Orphan's Ticket Home Fund is designed with the sole purpose of providing an orphan with the means to get home to their permanent families. No one is surprised by the fact that international travel is not cheap. This fund allows churches, families and communities to assist a child on their physical journey to finding a family.

Welcoming Angels

America World's hosting program was designed to benefit older orphans and advocate for their adoptions. Welcoming Angels brings groups of older orphans (ranging in ages from 6 to 12) to the United States to spend 4 weeks with a family. During their time in the U.S., the children get to experience family life in the U.S. while raising the community’s awareness of the needs of older orphaned children. Since its inception, in late 2010, over 80% of the children who participated in the program have been adopted.

Become an Orphan Advocate

Since 1994, America World has placed over 3,000 orphans from 13 different countries in their God-ordained families. Orphan Advocates are important partners in this mission. In whatever capacity you feel called to be involved with advocating on behalf of orphaned and vulnerable children, America World wants to support and encourage you in reaching your goal(s) through our orphan advocacy initiatives – each of which is designed to support orphaned children and families considering adoption. Please prayerfully consider how you can partner with us in one of these important initiatives.

For more information on how to become an Orphan Advocate, contact Andrew Brown, Resource Development Director, at andrew.brown@awaa.org or 800-429-3369 ext. 131.
