The Home Study is a major part of the adoption process designed to help you. America World, as well as the U.S.C.I.S. and the foreign government, assess your ability to provide a loving home for an orphan, your motivation for adopting internationally and your expectations of your adoptive child. It is a written report that provides a comprehensive picture of your background, current family life and how this new child will be integrated into your family. It is designed to be a non-judgmental, educational and fruitful process. We hope you have fun.

America World is currently licensed to provide home study services in a number of states. Please check with America World prior to starting your home study process as we need to give approval for the agency you are desiring to use.
