Meet the Team Leader, Erica Ho:

My name is Erica Ho. I have worked in missions for many years. I have a great desire and passion to minister overseas, especially to children living in orphanages. These children are some of the most vulnerable people in the world and it is an honor to step into their stories for even a moment to show them they are loved by us... and by God.

My husband and I live in the Nashville area where he ministers in a local church. We have four children and two of them entered our family via the gift of adoption. Our youngest son is from Addis Ababa Ethiopia and has forever connected our hearts to the children and people there. My heart will always have a place in Ethiopia and I made a promise to continue to serve there once my son was home. I know many adoptive parents feel the same way.

I feel very strongly that short term trips are most effective when education and support plays a role in planning. This trip will reflect our Moms on Mission campaign and be geared towards those moms who still have a call to orphan care and desire to do mission work overseas. The dates of travel are intended to be mom-friendy (weekend to weekend). We will work closely with other teams going throughout the year to ensure that our time in Ethiopia is both productive and helpful.

During this trip, we will be visiting America World Adoption's partner orphanages as well as spending some time in the village of Korah. I am excited to go back and lead a team of people to meet the needs of orphaned children.
