Hello! My name is Alison Mosler and I am excited to be leading my second Storyteller mission trip to Ethiopia! I live near Ada, Ohio with my husband Charlie and my two boys Will and Nathan. We have a small hobby farm with a variety of critters. I was raised in a church very focused on missions. My first mission trip was to Ecuador with my church youth group. I have been hooked on missions ever since.

I met my husband in pharmacy school while on a trip to Belize. Our love of travel and missions led to us spending time in orphanages in various parts of the world. We knew early in to our relationship that God was calling our family to be formed through adoption. In 2009 we brought home Will from Ethiopia. I instantly fell in love with the beautiful country and people! We quickly reapplied and brought home Nathan in 2012.

Since the arrival of our children I have been the one to stay home with them while my husband serves/leads medical missions. When I realized that children can go on the Storyteller mission trips I was thrilled! It is very difficult to keep our children globally aware and plugged in to their culture when our lives here are so far from it. Being able to serve along side my oldest son has been amazing!

One thing I have learned about missions is that sometimes the tasks at hand seem small and you feel like you are not making a difference but the true fruits of our labor we may never see! Serving orphans will not only brighten their days it will change your life as well!!
